Lorraine Takacs joined the firm in 2009 after practicing law with an emphasis on insurance matters, including personal injury.  She has previous experience with Workplace Safety and Insurance matters.  She works principally in the Toronto office.

Lorraine has extensive experience in a variety of civil matters, most particularly in personal injury defence.  Her experience has resulted in appearances before the Ontario Courts and administrative bodies including the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.  She has appeared as counsel; in trials before the Ontario courts, including the Court of Appeal, and numerous arbitrations, both private and in a variety of administrative hearings.  Additionally she has extensive experience in all litigation steps including examinations for discovery, and mediations.  The totality of her experience allows her to offer assistance to clients in managing and resolving disputes.  She has offered a number of seminars on matters involving motor vehicle cases, first party benefits, and workplace safety and insurance matters.

Lorraine is  a graduate of Windsor Law School, called to the Ontario Bar in 1996.  she is a member of the Advocates Society, Ontario Bar Association and Medical Legal Society.  She has been involved in the community throughout her career in a number of volunteer associations.
