Hyla Korn joined the firm as an associate in 2010 following her call to the Bar. She articled with a boutique insurance defence litigation firm and summered at a plaintiff personal injury boutique.
She currently practices in all areas of civil litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury, property damage, occupiers' liability, professional negligence, coverage, products liability, and subrogation matters.
Hyla is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association and Canadian Defence Lawyers.
Hyla obtained her LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 2009. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.A. (Hons.) in religion where she was the recipient of several academic awards. Hyla also completed her M.A. in religion at the University of Toronto, and has been published in several academic publications.
