Gregory (Greg) Bailey was called to the Bar in 2002. He commenced his career at an insurance defence firm in Hamilton before moving to the position of in-house counsel for an insurance company. Greg joined Hughes Amys as an associate in June 2008 and became a partner in January 2011.

Working out of the Hamilton office,  his practice is primarily in the area of insurance defence litigation. His practice includes both tort and accident benefits matters, and he has particular experience and interest in the area of disputes between insurers.

He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Hamilton Law Association, the Canadian Defence Lawyers and the Ontario Bar Association.

Greg holds an Honours B.A. from McMaster University and an LL.B from the University of Victoria.
