Fatima Vieira was called to the Bar in 2002. Fatima practises civil litigation in the areas of insurance defence including personal injury, property damage, occupiers’ liability, negligence, and insurance coverage. Fatima has appeared before arbitration tribunals and proceedings in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice including an appeal. Fatima has also contributed to insurance and financial services regulation in the areas of policy and legislative development at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.

Fatima earned an LL.B. from Queen’s University School of Law and contributed to the academic advisor to the five-year review of the Ontario Securities Act. She also earned an M.A. in Public Administration from the University of Toronto.

Fatima is a member of the Advocate’s Society and the Portuguese Canadian Lawyers Association.
