Bio

Jay M. Silber is a partner at Hughes Amys LLP. He articled with the firm and has practiced with the firm since his call to the Bar in 2005.

Jay’s area of practice covers all aspects of civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance and insurance related matters, including personal injury, motor vehicle, occupiers liability, property loss and professional negligence.

Jay earned his LLB from the University of Windsor and his BA from Concordia University.

Jay is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Law Society of Upper Canada, Metropolitan Toronto Lawyers Association and the Advocates’ Society.

When not in the office, Jay is involved in a number of philanthropic initiatives, reads fiction & literature novels and spends time with his wife and three daughters.
