Bio

Hershel practices civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance defence in the areas of professional negligence, property loss, product liability and personal injury.  Hershel focuses on representing lawyers, accountants, financial advisors and directors and officers in malpractice claims.  He, also, focuses on property and casualty claims in areas as wide-ranging as agriculture, construction and oil and gas.  He has conducted interlocutory proceedings, mediations, trials and appeals.

Hershel is a community activist.  He worked with both the Ontario and Alberta Legislatures and remains involved in grassroots advocacy to all levels of government.

Hershel is married with three children.
